Suddenly I'm awake And everythings so clear I can finally be myself Now that you're not here Torn Away Like scab Laid bare Stinging pain That will fade A nightmarish dream Whose memory Slips away One moment I am numb Then it all comes flooding back That you're gone And now its just me No longer I feel weak Now that I've grown strong I finally broke the chains Used for stringing me along And now that you are gone I still feel you near The one that I love most The one that I most fear Was any of it real?
