Pulled Out The Knife

I was close enough to feeling over medicated My mind is switching back and forth from being Stimulated But then I'm coming back to life before I pulled out the knife I'm begging for a double up up on the Novocain I'm holding up with harmful feelings running through my brain But then I'm coming back inside before I sought out the sky And I can't see the sun Until I shut out the light You're like a loaded gun I've got my hand on the knife I'm filling up the sand that's falling from my hourglass I'm letting go of what's been clenching on me from my past But then I'm breathing you back in and I can't open my eyes You lie and pull me in and leave me lying in the mud I cut you off like you're a parasite that's in my blood And so I'm fighting for my life God help me pull out the knife And I can't see the sun Until I shut out the light You're like a loaded gun I've got my hand on the knife I'm barely breathing I've been comatose In my mind I'm screaming I've lost control Yeah!
