You call us monster, in your ignorance and fear You call us monster, as you approach with sword and spear This dungeon, as you call it's where I raise my family You call us monster, but you're the only monster I see I move So slowly As I Ooze around Absorbing little bits of food So deep inside my jelly cube Just eating whatever I find here on the ground! What did I do to Make you Get so angry Why won't you let me live in peace Stop struggling inside of me Hurry up and dissolve so I can eat! You call us monster, as you attack me in my home You call us monster, is it just fear of the unknown This dungeon, as you call it's where I raise my family And so I ask you who's the monster, you or me? I see All around me As I Float around I like to share my point of view And keep an eye on folks like you That's just how I pass the time here underground! What did I do to Make you Come after me Is this about your little friends? They died, but hey, in my defense The eye of this Beholder can't be unseen!
