Thanksgiving

On the summit a glaze of sun colored butter Melts down into a cravasse of mashed potatoes Green pea boulders bursting with vitamins Delicately across the lake of beef just north of the toast And to the south my hands lay folded In a silent moment of appreciation Outside the snow slides Off the roof and onto the ground Collecting on the summit, a sun colored sauce Leaks down into a chasm of blue ice freezing Now aqua-velva snowcones reflect a purple Yellowness beneath my napping eyes While a little heart beats next to me This shine... this shine
