He wanted to run away like all men would do When the seas become to much when control is wrestled from you He's losing his touch all around him, losing it everywhere he goes Out of place with all around him, the spiral downwards the mist it comes and goes He wanted to run away his kids can't understand him He wanted to catch a train and leave his troubles far behind him Never thought it would be like this when started all as a summers kiss Didn't realise he was unsuitable for a life that no longer would be his Help him to fly, help him to soar again Help him to laugh at the madness that has no end Help him to fly help him to soar again When he falls give him space to rest his head He wanted to run away to a time of no complication He wanted to see a face not a beaten and bowed reflection Wanted to learn and know the meaning of course and affect Wanted rid of all frustration wanted to reach his younger self again
