Shrimp Stare

I made a new fish tank To help me relax With rocks pointing out To look like sea stacks Pothos and ferns I also did add And a fog machine too! It did looketh most rad I then took a shrimp From his old larger home Into my new smaller tank And left him to roam I returned later on And peering through a sea stack To my surprise The shrimp was staring right back! Staring and Staring Then staring some more Of this single activity He did not bore Why does he stare? Not moving an inch! I wave my hand in his face He does not flinch Staring into my soul Haunting my dreams I switch the light on His eyeballs do gleams Is the tank not suitable? Is it too small? Just answer me now! And do not stall! But stall he does Uttering not a word I wait day and night Until my eyes done blurred Oh this is absurd! I finally shout A shrimp can't talk No more than a trout! My mood lightens The spell is all a broke! What silly thinking! An absolute joke! I move to my front door Not opened in weeks My legs all a wobbly My back cracks and creaks As I close my door And fix the door matt in front From my fish tank I hear A faintly uttered "Cunt"
