Barry Island

We went to Barry Island In the sun Nana and grandad And Daddy and me Uncle Paul and Aunty Hayley Met us on the beach We really had a lovely time at Barry Island Barry Island we had a lovely day Playing in the sand Making lots of sandcastles Paddling in the sea And having fun Nana and grandad bought a bucket and spade for me I dug in the sand and made a sandcastle by the sea We dug a really big pile of sand It had a moat and a tunnel We put Jacob on the top Then Grandad buried me in the sand So I buried Grandad in the sand, too Then I got my bucket Full of water And I tipped it over Grandad And we had a laugh Oh we had a laugh And a giggle Barry Island we had a lovely day Playing in the sand Making lots of sandcastles Paddling in the sea And having fun We found a crab and snails in the rock pools I put them in my bucket Then we saw some limpets Sticking to the rocks We had chips for dinner And the seagulls also like chips But they didn't get ours Cos we ate them all up Yes we did Then we went to the fun fair I had a big ice cream I went on the big wheel with Grandad We were high up in the sky High up in the sky Then I went on the roundabout With Nana We went round and round and round Round and round and round Then the spinning tea cups with Daddy The spinning tea cups with Daddy Oh the fun fair it really was good fun Barry Island we had a lovely day Playing in the sand Making lots of sandcastles Paddling in the sea And having fun And now I'm looking forward to the next time we go
