Greay skies Kingdoms of concrete Nearing end of journey As I awakened from my great sleep Flying through the city Looking down on humans With such great pity How they Let their minds go Influenced by spells that came from the evil that came down below Destroyed my species Hunted, tortured, slaughtered, buried underneath these Rocks and gravel I'm nearing destinations that I must go to In my travels I look down as the humans prepare for battle The hex prevails They aim slow I feel the pain in my body That comes From the strike The first blow I spiral to the ground I do not scar the land, as it is greay and coarse My body is bloody and torn I realize I must release my essence into the atmosphere to awaken my brothers My essence ebbs from my soul Seeping into the air and soaking the earth My brothers will feel my call and awaken I smile through the pain and the anguish Knowing my quest will be completed and the dragons will rise again As my eyes slowly close I await my meeting with the Great Spirit
