Onibaba Mask

Heart and soul are festered rotten black. I'll wear this grimace like an Onibaba mask. Devil's smile stretched and midnight hour eyes. The skin is stitched together in convincing disguise. The reeds are falling and they're piercing my skin. The reeds are falling and they're scratching my skin. I feel the damage and it's pulling me in. My hopes are scattered and I feel like all my Days of sun are numbered and I'm coming off the track. I'm stuck in this grimace of an Onibaba mask. An exhausted contortion of a smile that's worn thin. The agony apparent in the fibres of my skin.
