Light hit the sand Bit from the hand Can't understand This head Breath on the glass Marks on the grass All things will pass Life's dead I tried to change it all before I tried a thousand times or more Sought to find the peace inside Watched the rocks begin to slide And I couldn't hide I lost myself without a fight Darker days and longer nights Thought I knew what felt alright Something deep will not ignite Sleeping tight Seed the plant inside my skull Back and forth, push and pull Time just falls away All my thoughts disappear Drifting out beyond my fear I'll find life some other day
