mona lisa i been up all nite wondring why your smile ain’t right  seems like you been caught between a pose  what you been smoking nobody knows did i say something to make you freeze  c’mon mona lisa tell me please  seems like you got, something to prove and when you finally speak up i know i’m gonna lose    well if i could paint you differently  you’d be in my arms and loving me  but instead i’m on my bleeding knees come on, mona, talk to me, oh     mona lisa everybody says   you got a sweet knack for understatement   protected behind that burglar-proof glass don’t expect a kiss if you won’t give the pass   
well if i could frame you in a different scene it would be all wrong there’d be things missing  and though i know i’ll never know the real score  it’ll only make me love you more howz about if we restart from zero  and pick it up again tomorrow  cuz as sure as the sun will shine  you’re still my girl, at least til breakfast time
