We're descending It's never finished Bracing for impact It's deceiving Searching for truth Light is fading Brace for impact Finding grace and finding trust never made much sense to us I'll cut you out you're a disease shallow or deep I don't care how far I go tearing muscle breaking bone, this body isn't home Leave me alone Digging deeper than ever before Picking pieces of myself up off the floor The jigsaw is wearing me down while I cut through the lies All of the ties keeping me on the ground Don't come around, I don't need you dragging me down Lost and I've found the light living inside there is not time to hide Flesh! Bone! Facing the truth I don't need you Cut flesh and bone I'll remove you No matter the depth I'll dig you out I don't need you I'm spiraling out Break it, bend it, tear it apart Splitting my rib tear out my heart The light is fading it all turns black Guess getting better is what I lack Nothing To weigh me On the scale I am not Glass or frail A jigsaw That is me Pieces left from shattering
