Fire Alarm (demo)

I'm mentally disturbed I am sick inside the head But if my mind has got the weapon It's my body that has bled And if I run out fast enough When the fire alarm rings Will you take me at my word That all I want to do is cling To these sweet and finite moments with the people I call home Despite the way I hate my body when it makes its presence known I'm grateful that it holds me And lets me sing these songs I can't imagine being right So if two rights make a wrong Then I guess I'm here forever in this decomposing world I'll try hard to hold onto all the lessons I have learned Like get up out of bed when you get up in the morning And if that's not when you wake up Go to bed before the morning We're here on planet earth for some reason Who knows why And convention says I'd hate you But I miss you all the time I'd love to just let go But you stick to me like clay And if I did it all again I'd do it the same way So I guess I'm here forever on this decomposing world I'll try hard to hold onto all the lessons I have learned Like get up out of bed when you wake up in the morning And if that's not when you wake up Well, then go to bed before the morning
