The clouds rolling in Dragging shadows to scare me Laughing, dancing While I lay confused And I will admit When I am done Its easier to remember what I've lost from what I've won What have I won Now rainy days Have become my anchor 'Cuz those are the days That soothe me to sleep And I've become friends With the storm over my head I know well the cutting winds That sweep me off my feet On rooftops and side walks The moonlight will guide us And if you, if you fall now I'd offer you my hand
