Baggy Hoodies

You sit on the toilet seat I sit in the bath And you're crying quite sweetly I sing all the parts To a folk song I love From my childhood And when that is done You says just one more tune And we must have been in there For at least two hours Me clothed in the tub Dripped on by the shower Your whispering stories Pull strings from your mind to thread Whilst simultaneously asking me To just sing instead I sung Dododododododo I know I can't convince you Watch me through tears of tinsel Shimmering ribbons down your cheeks Happiest when you're asleep That's not quite true, but you're joy always seem so fleeting I know I can't convince you, I say we love, you won't believe me 
But instead you ask me to sing one more time
I couldn't think of any words if I could they wouldn't rhyme
I just sung And you left So I laid there in silence For hours on end My walls became giants And they were not my friends I tried to leave the island My queen sized bed But every time I tried it The walls just laughed at my attempts I just sung We were Feeling unleashed But we were Feeding the beast That was Breathing underneath Our baggie hoodies Always falling off our feet Feeling low and incomplete But we never saw defeat Rolled till sunrise hit the street
