I'm tired of sycophants In the room like an elephant That no one wants to address I've had enough of rhetoric Designed to make me change the logic Of what I think I'm bored of the working class Doing the bidding for the ruling class Without ever noticing Tired of this rancid cooked Overcooked and overcrooked meat That never falls of it's feet Inside our great little minds Is there something we can find To crack the glass of what's supposed to be On a true wish to be free Live fast and die young Never meant you should have any fun It meant live fast die young Work hard And keep our profits coming I'm tired of seeing this When I look to the side And I feel like I'm on a strange ride Where we all like to be taken for fools No matter for what Or for whom We're fools and they leave us the fools gold And we keep scoring own goals So break the ceiling of what's supposed to be With a strong wish to be free How many more will have to sing this song? So many other freedom lovers were not enough? We are walking down a cliff, a precipice And it became so normal we think going down is going up And a lot of us stay silent and put We believe trash tropes of working hard to be happy But how hard? Somewhat hard? Very hard? Extremely hard? Die hard? No one let us choose the difficulty of this game at our birth And we don't have to accept it We can still hit the big button And reset it!
