I was thinking again that I was privileged That I had a great job and I liked it very much Now I'm retired and happy and I can still recall All the memories from my work I dealt with colleagues that were so skilled Never had the fear of doing mistakes All well, all well for sure We were working in the toughest business Control System Supervision of electrical utilities Our system was one of the best in the world It was certainly a great thing If you look at world it can be found everywhere Pleased to see it here and there It contributes to the balance And that feels good you know I have all the right to be proud of that We could beat the competition And sell our systems good I could be so fine and I'll hang around I will linger on my memories You can't be so sure if it will last for so long And that is so hard to accept You couldn't be without electricity oh, no It's here to stay hey, hey We want it, we want it Oh we want it, we want it We want it, we want it alright
