Gloomy November

November looks just as normal With its gloomy and cloudy skies Every day is so depressing now I need a bit of sun shine please For at least some minutes a day For how long can it prevail? I wondered for so long Imagine it can last for a while I hope that snow will come here soon It lightens up the day so much And you can see where you go When there's a moonlit night And if the snow will stay a while It reminds me of ancient years Long time ago when I was young The winters were the same as snow Hey what's this? I'm sitting here Getting a nostalgia trip This can happen from time to time What can I do about it? Hey what's this? Was everything better? In the early days I guess it wasn't always so true Dreaming is all that I can do When Christmas has past and gone by We are getting much longer days Our hopes and dreams will come again Of a better and nicer year November has long gone by The spirits are lifted up You can sense the coming spring Nothing can stop us now Hey what's this?
