When I was in the city I met, a guy that was at my age just about He looked weary and cold He said hello to me And asked if, he could get a dollar just for some food He looked weary and wet When I was just about to leave He told me that he had no home for the night He looked weary and bad I felt so ashamed All the things that I have There should be a law against this shit I asked him what had happened He told me, that he knew me way back since we were kids He looked weary and sad He started talking now Lost his job, and ended up in using drugs and stuff He looked weary and bad I felt so ashamed All the things that I have There should be a law against this shit No security is left He lost his, family and been thrown out of his home He looked weary and lost Deep down in my wallet I took up, ten dollars and put it right in his hand He looked weary and glad I felt so ashamed All the things that I have There should be a law against this shit When is the time a-changing? How long, does society wait to accept all these facts? I am waiting and waiting
