Sitting on the couch remote in hand Scrolling through movies more than we planned Options on the screen they just won't end Can't find the perfect one on this we depend Scrolling on and on in our movie quest What to watch next it's anyone's guess The food's getting cold but we can't decide In this endless scroll we're along for the ride Our dinner's getting cold on the coffee table But picking a movie we're just not able Comedies thrillers a drama or two With each passing minute still no clue It's a digital buffet an overwhelming sight With every flick and scroll we lose the fight Our dinner's now ice in this remote control plight In the glow of the TV nothing's quite right "Let's watch this one!" But then we hesitate "Or that one's good!" But is it too late? Back and forth the clock ticks on Our stomachs grumble but the decision's not done Scrolling on and on in our movie quest What to watch next it's anyone's guess The food's getting cold but we can't decide In this endless scroll we're along for the ride We give up the search turn off the show Look at each other and start to glow We laugh and decide it's time to dine Reheat our feast pour some wine Forget the movies forget the screen It's just us and the night's serene In laughter and chatter we find our delight A perfect ending to our movie-less night
