Almost ten years ago, I became a father Two gifts came to us, a son and a daughter The love was immediate And that's the main ingredient How much do I love you? I could fill encylopedias Responsibility came and hit me like a meteor I don't know why, but I thought this would be easier Thought I knew fatigue, but now I'm even sleepier Thought I was broke, but now I'm even needier But it's all worth it just to see you doing well The first 60 days of your lives were living hell Death tried to take you, but God helped you prevail And gave you what you need so you can be your best self I want this clear for you I'm not perfect, but I'm here for you Follow your passion cuz you know I'll always cheer for you Cuz I see what's in your heart, and it's beautiful Mom and I will ride for you both, indisputable Cuz I'ma ride for my family Through the hard times, been getting by with my family You better not try with my family Cuz if it comes to it, I would die for my family Cuz I'ma ride for my family Through the hard times, been getting by with my family You better not try with my family Cuz if it comes to it, I would die for my family And when the world throws you a wild pitch If you ever start to ask the question"Why do I exist?"
