Hatred has many faces Homophobia, racism Classism, sexism Mandatory minimum sentencing Has only one color in the prism You're free to practice your creed If you're a Christian I believe in freedom for all Spiritualities You can fly Higher Than the threat of a pyre Oppression I dream Of it breaking No longer shaking Don't let God make you afraid No one has to agree With one another except for the concept Of trying like hell to love each other Because this world is cold Because of hatred and greed I feel so low Seeing so much suffering, suffering I believe In freedom for all spiritualities I believe In freedom for all humanity We must try to overcome Systematic bias The future I dream of It's not full of rich people Getting paid While the innocents are in a cage I am at the left hand of God Minus the stigma I care for all the world a lot
