I broke my mug Smashed it right on the floor Almost cut my foot But I didn't somehow I loved that mug It had stars on it Now the stars are in pieces in my trashcan And probably under the shelf too Stars in my trashcan I lost my favourite mug And now when I look at the sky at night The stars don't mean the same thing The stars are in pieces When they used to make a portrait in the sky Like a puzzle with a missing piece Just won't fit together anymore Stars in my trashcan My favourite fucking mug If I wasn't so clumsy and stupid Maybe the stars would still shine The stars are in pieces Broken and shattered, making me cry So hand me the broom and enjoy your starless night I didn't mean to Break the stars Maybe I can fix them Maybe I can fix them
