For Staying Alive

You're walking down the street in the middle of the night And you don't think of nothing bad Then you see a street gang and you change the side But there stands another lad He's calling all his friends and they cross the street Start picking on you Then they beat you up until your nose is full of bleed And you don't know what to do You're lying in the mud and you ask the boys Why they are doing that They just laugh at you and a youthful guy is saying without regret For staying alive, I have to fight I have to fight for my life I don't wanna steal, I don't wanna lie But If I don't then I will die There is a president in a very big land And he's preparing for a speech He wants to tell the damned people of the senate Of a thing he wants to achive He needs a lot of press for his armament race That means everything to him But some people disagree to the president's greed And that makes him very grim Then he's standing on stage in front of the panel And everybody's looking at him He's smiling into the camera Then he begins For staying alive, I have to fight I have to fight for my life I don't wanna steal, I don't wanna lie But If I don't then I will die
