God's Promise

This very day The Lord has made This special day for you The heavens knew Each step you'd take Before you ever grew The Lord our God Knew all too well Every trial you'd face But because you're one of His You must boldly run this race Think not His trials Or trying times As signs of failing love But know each valley Leads to a bridge God's promise from above Each night your eyes Close tightly shut You lay your head to sleep Your heart keeps time With His command God blesses it to beat If it's His Will You shall awake Wake to this new day Daily lose your life for Him And you will find your way And He Says Who ever finds His life Will lose it But who ever loses his life For me will find it
