Green Sweater

Oh I feel kinda cute In my new green sweater But I think It's time for me To get to bed Oh for me The point was moot And I knew I could do better That was until I heard something That you said When you take step outside your door You're no longer who you're dressing for I've seen those looks before When you put on something you should know That you're really putting on a show If they stay I'll go Cause I'll be Underneath All this hair and all these teeth And I wonder If you'd like What you see If you closed your eyes And tried my brain on for size Could you ever Really know me Otherwise? I get so caught up inside this head I can't decide if I like Who I turned out to be or if my friends see something in me Beyond my clothes behind my face I'll test the waters just in case I'll sit alone and try and find if I'm ok with my mind When you take step outside your door You're no longer who you're dressing for I've seen those looks before When you put on something you should know That you're really putting on a show If they stay I'll go I feel cute In my new sweater But I think it would be better For my head If I just Went to bed
