O saints arise! The day is bright From death to life from dark to light Once bound by sin now free to stand Held fast within the Father's hand Not works not law nor strength we claim But mercy's gift in Jesus' name Grace has come it shapes our way Turns the night to brightest day Zealous hearts in wisdom shine For Christ redeems His love refines O shepherds called to lead and guide Hold truth with strength let none divide Let voices false be cast away Let faith stand firm let love obey Not lips that lie nor pride that sways But hearts made pure in holy ways Grace has come it shapes our way Turns the night to brightest day Zealous hearts in wisdom shine For Christ redeems His love refines Be gentle pure in all be sound Let kindness rise let love abound Though scoffers mock though fools deride The truth remains the Lord provides O saints lift up! The King is near The blessed hope His light appears No fading crown no fleeting breath But life in Him who conquered death O Spirit move refine restore Make strong the weak make rich the poor For grace still speaks and mercy stays Till all the world resounds in praise Grace has come it shapes our way Till Christ returns in glorious day
