Paul's Letter

He loved the law of God But was a slave to sin He said there's another power At war that is within "Lord I wanna do what's right But it seems I can't" He was a miserable man He couldn't understand Ohhh these things that I do They're not what I want to Ohhh It's not me But this sinful nature I've grown to Cause It's more than flesh and blood It's so much deeper than eyes can see Ohhh He was a man of God and knew the God of man The very first and last The one to rule and win Over sin Death wasn't the end Ohhh these things that I do They're not what I want to Ohhh It's not me But this sinful nature I've grown to Cause It's more than flesh and blood It's so much deeper than eyes can see Ohhh If I sinned again and again and again You'd love me without though And if at all that I'm like Paul You know I hate the way I sin Oh again and again I'll never understand Oh again and again You'd love me even then Ohhh the righteous will fall But the righteous will rise Ohhh Lord I wanna search with Much more than my eyes Cause It's more than they can see It's more than the flesh and blood on me Ohhh
