Dear god, do you here my prayers? Gave it to an angel and he took it up stairs Did you listen, or did you throw it in the gutter? Hear my words maybe listen make you shutter When you read it don't sit on your ass and ponder it Believe in it like I believed in you when I was younger It seems like in the past you where much more pleasant But now its the present and your time has passed At least that's what it seems When I look around its not you I see Its not the devil you made out to be Its me Myself and I Me is for the people who are born and died Imma take that back This ain't no prayer, its a cry for help and I don't care who's there 'Cause speak of the devil and he shall appear But call out to god and he's nowhere near The devil may come if you do not pray Can call out to god but satan will stay You telling me I've changed I'm the one that really knows Its amazing how in one year just how much I've grown I stand in disbelief to the king upon the thrown If the angels really real how come they've never been shown I remember back in kindergarten going to recess Now I'm coughing up the blood from the demons I possess I don't even feel guilt and to god I will confess All the fucks I could have given I cannot give any less 'Cause everytime I get hurt and I turn into a demon Saying hi to satan every time I stop breathing Hey man Why you talk to satan not to god 'Cause satan gives me something too believe in Satan made the promise that he's never ever leaving He said that hell take me even though I am a heathen "But god said all that too" Yeah But god only gives it to you if you fit his description Satan makes everything clear his message don't need no decryption Satan has morals while god he has visions But if god had a vision he'd see the division Between all his people and made an incision Inserted himself when we needed help But all that he did is watched from a distance as satan turn earth into hell
