Bi-Polaroid

I found the Polaroid from our second date It all came rushing back like a tidal wave Swore I was taken back, like I was there again I could smell your perfume on the autumn wind But what a shame, a falling out We've reached the end I'll take the blame, cause there's no doubt I can't pretend I didn't get just what I deserved I wish that you never left But I'm so glad that you're gone You gave me nothing but your best I gave you nothing that you'd want The only thing that I have left now Is just this Polaroid picture to remind me that I let you down You were the very best of all the love I've lived You were deserving of something I couldn't give And in another life I wouldn't mess things up I would do everything to make you feel so loved I wish that you never left But I'm so glad that you're gone You gave me nothing but your best I gave you nothing that you'd want The only thing that I have left now Is just this Polaroid picture to remind me that I let you down I'll point the finger at the mirror And let your voice fade away in my head I'll go back through all our old pictures And waste away in my shame and regret
