Only absorbing positivity and light at this point in my life No longer worrying myself about the strife Talking every situation, turning it into a lesson When I feel down, God shows me why he did what he did It turns into a blessing I want to grow, grow, grow I want to grow in a sense of intelligence I want to grow in a sense of self love I want to no longer feel bitterness in my heart Wanting to forgive, but I will never forget Looking back, there's nothing in this lifetime so far that I regret I can say that I'm in a better place than I was around this time of year Holding my breath under water, just barely getting by, my mind was in fear Blessed to have good friends by my side Blessed to be in good health Blessed to finally be at somewhat peace in my life Everyday is a day to be better than you were yesterday Learning that even if it's just a small change, you're still bettering yourself Be great, soar high
