SEASONAL DEPRESSION

My heart feels too heavy To be sitting inside of my chest It's just overflowing With the aftermath of thoughts my mind can't put to rest I'm a ship stuck at sea Betrayed by my anchor But my foundation's strong I prob'ly should thank her It's hard to love you When your insides feel broken I know one day they'll mend But for now I'm just hopin' I can get through the month This dreary september It's seasonal depression Same as I remember Woah...woah oh oh I'm glued to my mattress With every minute I sink Impossibly deeper Until I have no more thoughts left to think I've been hit by a tidal wave There's been a shipwreck Now my foundation's broken Along with the rest It's hard to love you When your insides feel broken I know one day they'll mend But for now I'm just hopin' I can get through the month This dreary september It's seasonal depression Same as I remember Woah...woah oh oh I've hit an island Im somewhere on shore I'm trapped in the sand But somehow it feels like there's more...
