The reasons why I stayed away in the first place Are the same damn reasons why I'm here in the worst place Difficult decisions, overthinking The worst case Constant criticism never helping my mind state Holding on to a vision Steady making my mind race I was focused on the mission But was missing the constant It was you After everything that I've done put You through You stayed the same and never Changed, i appreciate all you do Always by my side ride or die for the cause And you still right here you deserve an applause, lemme pause Everybody looking for love Listen up I got something you can't put in your cup It's called trust Give a little then report your results I guarantee that you will see a difference, and if you don't Then try again Cause if not then you won't Find the one I remember when I thought there was none, but I was wrong uh And it's funny 'cause I'm sitting here preaching about trust in love. Constant insecurities, i worry till i'm mad Lack of male maturity, obscurities my bad I had tried to start explaining but i tripped up now you're mad, but i'm glad Cause we always fightin' through it Communication skills all but good Yet we make do with all our Small talks and the long walks Frequent trips to the dog parks Soft lips sooth a hard heart Mood swings out the ball park Phone rings for a false start Thought we heard the bell So we all bark Do you think I'm dumb?
