Ginger Ale

All packed up and ready to go Is this real or is this for show Either way At least it's something to do Glass half full of ginger ale I'm ready come on set sail Birds fly by As the wind takes us from shore Sky is bright, waves crash on the shore I don't wanna go home anymore Everything's better I'm where I wanna be Usually the waves make me sick But right now I don't notice it I'm just glad I'll get away for a while If this is real or if it's just in my head I hope it never ends Laying in the sun Feel the rays On our skin Smiling at the sky Don't even care that We forgot our sunblock Finally we've made it to land We hop off put our feet on the sand It's so warm I think we're in paradise I'd be fine to lay here a while I'm calm and that makes me smile No more stress this is more my style See the sun all high in the sky From what I see there's no cloud in sight Stay cool Underneath the trees I wonder if it's too good to be true Who cares I don't know about you I'll embrace What i got right now If this is real or if it's just in my head I hope it never ends Laying in the sun Feel the rays On our skin Smiling at the sky Don't even care that We forgot our sunblock I wake up it was all a dream No shock to me But I know I'll come back tomorrow
