We’re down in a hole We’re at the liberty of those in control There’s nowhere to run They get rewarded when we face the guns Worth our weight in blood Expected to do what they don’t think we could Stepped on like dirt To fuel the maw of the greed driven worms And satisfaction – it comes at a cost We’re already down so why not take the loss? Blissful ignorance from sins of the flesh Innocent eyes don’t mean innocent lies don’t mean innocent hands Disposable income / Disposable life They flourish in luxury / We’re crippled by strife Lives taken daily in blood cold as ice So they have the means to afford the things that are nice Those who have nothing must pay the price Pigs become richer and we remain flies Chained like a dog Treated like shit Fitted with muzzles Taking kick after kick Kick after kick! It makes me sick! Stronger in mind and hand than the ones we stand below If you thought we were lost before take a look what we’ve turned into Working our lives away allowing our minds to rust Subordinate to bloodthirsty men, so what does that say about us?
