What is the cross? The cross is beautiful The cross is everything The cross is the upside down sword Stuck in the ground showing victory The cross is the upside down sword Showing how upside down This kingdom really is That it's the weak who will be raised up It's the weak who are the greatest That's when we know we can't do it And we just sit and rest Is when He raises us up to the top of a mountain He rewards us for just sitting and being And we only have that because the cross The cross is love The cross is beautiful It's when a life was layed down for you And all you're capable of giving back Is the exact same thing You lay your life down You just lay down In a world where you have to run You have to fight You have to grow and achieve Just to show how worthy you are He took that cross That upside down sword And He stuck it in the ground And He showed victory He showed you My Kingdom Is not this worldly kingdom It's the Kingdom of lay down And rest
