Jag hör hur det susar i utkanten av mitt medvetande Det är något som trampar bland torra grenar med tunga steg Gamla sagor knakar i fogarna här Mossbeklädda stenbumlingar sträcker långsamt på sig i det dunkla ljuset Mmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmm The infinite silence of time The roar of the wind the ting of the chime Without an appointment No sides to take The nature of existence impossible to fake Born, living, dying Born again and again Soft human Bodies so easily gone But the memories stay on In the old days mountains never moved Motionless like trolls in broad daylight we stood The lizards who inhabited the stone monuments Erected by men they still remember that time Mmmmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmmm Old stones do not get younger, And they do not stop aging They remember in silence They keep quiet cause no-one speaks to them any more But hey, what could they say, no-one believes in their stories anyway Only lizards believe them now And caress their mineral architecture But lizards are also mute And that's why old stones like lizards Times change quietly sometimes loudly And I ask, what is the meaning of all of this?
