Now here I lay A beast Laid low Before The devouring chasm of time Arms bent back Yield To wild-eyed despair The bars of my cage Warp with every breath Ashen hand Beckons Guide me to the door Unseeing eyes Of blood-black treachery Time won't move for me I am nailed To the floor Stone upon stone I have buried myself Under a mountain of shame Terraformed in your name For a drop of affection Poured forth from poison cup For a love that kills me slowly For a rain that never comes
