A Part of Life's

I've been running from the pain Trying to hide, from it all I used to try to numb, it with whatever, I could find But that only, made things worse Now I have to face it, Head on I have to accept the pain. It's a part of life's journey I won't let it consume me I'll find a way to cope and be free It won't be easy. But I know I can do it I'll take it one day at a time And find a way to make it, through it I used to be afraid. Of everything around me But I learned to face my fears. And now I'm feeling free I conquered my fear. I didn't let it hold me down I stood tall and faced it. Now I wear a crown I'll never back down. I'll never give in I'll face my fears head on. And I'll win I've been running from the pain Trying to hide, from it all But no matter where I go. It seems to follow me
