And for the past few nights I've been thinking of running away Not sure where I'm going But hoping you'll say "Good luck on your new road Call me when you get there Don't forget about the memories we made Over the years" And it's about time I set the record straight I'm leaving so I don't have to see you again I'm sorry but this is the end Of everything And sometimes It's just good to get away But where do you go When you don't have a place to stay I never thought that I'd be gone forever Now I'm out here on my own Never thought that I'd be Ever coming home Allow me to reintroduce myself And come clean, I've been living like someone else But I never thought that things would ever change So now I find myself looking for a getaway I'll be running for the rest of my life Because I'm running from the rest of my life There's not a thing you can say That would make me wanna stay I'm moving on from my old life And I suggest you do the same
