The Future

So many words unspoken I think we just lost our focus Can't go back to when we had it If the future might still have it I'll be waiting till the day I reach the end And if you finally come around I hope that we can make amends I'll still reach out every month or so To ask if God has let you know If this is right or wrong And if it's not can you just let me go Of course I miss our messages Our crazy, stupid friendship But the only reason I'm still here Is cause you said the future might bring closure But you let the exposure get way too high And now we're blinded by the fireworks set off between our eyes This was more than stupid love But I guess you had cruel intentions I can't have you But I'm under the impression I've got chances
