The Mirror

I've gotta say This house don't look the same without your things There's an empty driveway With two fresh tire marks and on our old kitchen table Sits a brand new diamond ring And over there just down the hall There's a hole put in the wall It showed up there the morning that you left I've been tryin' to clean this place back up Won't take long with any luck But there's one thing I can't figure out just yet What did you do to the mirror Yeah, I really wish I knew No, I can't find a crack, but the man I see there lookin' back Well, he's broken right in two Figured I would find some answers But I haven't got a clue What did you do to the mirror Or is that just how I look without you He's lookin' rough And it's safe to say he's seen his better days And it don't take much To see the if I coulds and the wish I woulds Written right across his face And it's all that I can do To even look into Those hollow eyes just staring right through mine All this unwanted self reflection Leaves me with a million questions But there's one my heart just can't get off its mind What did you do to the mirror Yeah, I really wish I knew No, I can't find a crack, but the man I see there lookin' back Well, he's broken right in two Figured I would find some answers But I haven't got a clue What did you do to the mirror Cause surely what it's showing ain't the truth What did you do to that mirror Or is that just how I look without you
