The Best Day of My Life

If I could feel like this for the rest of the night I'd take the next step and I wouldn't think twice Every now and then I feel alright When will I be free these constraints too tight I was stuck inside a bottle wasn't very bright Watching television wasting most of my life Had to find direction had to do it right Had to take instruction had to learn when to fight Now I don't know what to call it other than it's minimal Cuz if you want nothing it's easy for you to get it all I had to forget everything and now I feel incredible Keep on trying you might not get it but I bet you will I think about the time that I lost my mind I couldn't read the signs it's typical Take everything for granted that you're handed Were stranded on this planet with no place to go If I could feel like this for the rest of my life I take a deep breath cuz I know I'd survive Every now and then it's the best day of my life I'm finally free and it feels so right I was stuck in tunnel vision But I saw the light Not from the television Had to make things right Had to make a big decision Seemed to lose my sight From the third eye vision Or what you call it right It's not like you lost your wallet It's not in the physical But you can still grow it Some that are spiritual Say that were born soulless And that you have to earn it And you mess up once and you just burned it Me I think the reason for changing like the season Is to breathe in enjoy the moment and watch our children grow Don't take for granted Enjoy the planet Remember that we are all stranded with no place to go
