This world makes me blue

This world Makes me feel sad And no, I'm not weak, I'm not blind I have a heart and a mind Indifference is natural to some I'm not like that anymore This world Makes me blue Selfishness, violence and hate Is what we breathe every day How did it turn out like this? There must be something we miss People are starving Children are dying While people in power are partying Shaking hands, bloody hands While they're waving the so called peace flag This world Is driving me mad Humanity is taking its toll on it And it's taking it bad We were given all but it's never enough Had to rip it apart Poles are melting Rivers are drying Thousands of species no longer surviving In our hands, bloody hands While our world keeps on crumbling apart What is money? What is pleasure? Did we really forget about our treasure? What is love? What is kindness?
