if it must come down might as well let it come down quickly while my hands are raw, while my face is numb might as well while my ears are still ringing i know all good things end just never been any good at knowing when curl back in bed, let the sun reset for the longest night of no dreams again let the wind take the golds and reds drown this scene in grey and white turn this street into one i don?t recognize trapped in ice for the meantime it?s so easy to forget for me i?ve never had to try always been easy to let go i do it all the time i don?t see why it won?t be tonight
