In my sleep In my father's dreams Wondering what we all see Far beyond Far beyond the Milky Way I just hope he sees me anyway Still I wait I wait for the day That I know what happens Not that I'll know what’ll happen Floating in Floating in and out of sleep Between the dreams we share til' they’re not there Drifting off Drifting through the rush of wind Flying in-between the film of safe and sin Stealing stars Escaping mars Feeling lost Embraced in arms Seeing him Loving her Sleeping through the pain I can’t explain Falling through the clouds Breathing small and loud Seeking to rejoice living through my extra voice Feeling free Feeling free from all the pain Hoping I can see your face again Breathing in Breathing in my waking joy Knowing that I’ve traveled far and wide
