They seem to hate us, wanna shame us, rain on our parade Just for being who we are! They wanna weaponise, marginalise but we ain't gunna give up the fight! Just for being who we are! Tell me what is wrong with our political system, Why we gotta beat up on minorities? Can't you see? Can't you feel? Our difference makes us colourful and unique! We're just looking for love and family! They wanna convert us, pervert us, isolate and subvert us Just for being who we are! They wanna ban our storytime making out like it's some kinda twisted crime Just for being who we are! Tell me what is wrong with our political system, Why we gotta beat up on minorities? Rubbing everybody's face in my transgender identity! Just for being who we are! They wanna berate us Just for being who we are! They wanna negate us Just for being who we are! Shower us in shame Just for being who we are! It's a cynical political game! Just for being who we are! They wanna beat us! Just for being who we are! They're gunna mistreat us!
