Robots in Love

It's Christmas time I've spent all day working at the tungsten mines But something else is weighing on my robot mind And I can't escape the robot camp until tonight It's Christmas day I've been working very hard being a robot maid Cleaning, cooking, dusting while the children play Counting down the hours till I sneak away Robots in Love I put my robot hand into your robot glove We clank on down the street to the robot park And bleep and bloop together till it's way past dark We touch circuits together and we make a spark And I press my robot face against your robot lips I download all your love onto my feelings chip So I know I'm metal on the inside But I'm having feelings that I can't hide The government says that robot love is forbidden No matter how we try we can't keep our robot love hidden! I had a robot dream That we flew away together to a place that's green And we're married and we form a real great robot team A robot baby and a house along a data stream But now the sun does rise And it's time to go back to our separate robot lives So for now we say goodbye until tomorrow night And thinking all day long about our love
