Please tell me it's okay to not want to have to be ignored when you're down Cause I've been too caught up on invalidation causing so many problems Keep holding hands with promise ring love And trying really hard To manage the bed frame romance It's easier said than done To be adored My insecurities had left you with such an angry mouth at the time Taking the bitter truth, tattered and worn and longing for what is new But I could blame myself for every thing So no one gets hurt But I want to try and stand up for myself but It's way too hard, it's way too hard, it's way too hard Sea sick and getting over fears of bodies of water And bodies that I never knew But they like me, so what the hell, I like them too Thank you for all you've done I appreciate all the support and quality time And inviting me in so fast without any judgement right away Some things just don't pan out That is okay, I still like you anyway
