Enjoying the Company

Can't explain how happy I would be With you laying right here next to me I'd look over and I would see Everything that I'd ever need But I look over and I just see the wall It's pretty hard to move when I gave you my all Oh man, I tried I thought things were fine Then you left without even sparing a goodbye But such is life I guess I'm fine It's getting old and I don't have the time Or energy to be sad all day But at night I guess it's okay Cuz right now I don't think that I have too much of a choice Can't fall asleep cuz when I'm drifting off I hear your voice It fucks with me and you know that I really hate to say That I don't have any idea why you went away I enjoyed the company while it lasted And I hope that soon I'll get passed it Erase your face from my memory All the good times, it's not easy I hope that I don't ever have to look at you again I don't mean to be rude but you lost more than just a friend Maybe I misunderstood cuz I am kind of a dunce I didn't think forever was just a matter of months
